YOU BELONG HERE

Every Family Deserves a Maison.™

There is no single definition of family. And there is no single way to need a village.

At Maison Cheniah | Maison des Mères™, we believe postpartum care should reflect the beautiful, complex, and deeply personal ways families are created.

Some families begin with birth.

Some through adoption.

Some through surrogacy.

Some after years of fertility treatments.

Some grow through blending families.

Some parents have a house full of support.

Others are figuring out how to do this with very little help at all. Wherever your story begins, there is room for your family here. We don't expect you to fit into our definition of family.

We make room for yours.

Our Doors Are Open

Maison Cheniah proudly welcomes and supports:

🤎 First-Time Parents & Growing Families: Whether this is your first baby or you're welcoming another little one into your family, every postpartum experience is different. We meet you in this season without assuming what you should already know or how you should be feeling.

🌿 Single & Solo Parents: You may be parenting independently, but that doesn't mean you should have to carry everything alone. We can become an extra set of hands, a listening ear, a source of education, and part of the village surrounding you and your baby.

🌈 LGBTQ+ Families: Your identity, pronouns, parenting roles, feeding choices, and family structure deserve to be respected. We provide affirming postpartum support centered around your family—not assumptions about your family.

❤️🤍💙 U.S. Military & Veteran Families: Military life can mean welcoming a baby while stationed far from family, navigating deployments or reintegration, relocating, or building a village somewhere new. Maison Cheniah recognizes those unique transitions and provides flexible, compassionate support for military members, Veterans, spouses, and their families.

🏡 Adoptive, Foster & Intended Parents: Postpartum and newborn support aren't only for families who experience pregnancy or birth. Families formed through adoption, foster care, and surrogacy may also need newborn education, bonding support, household assistance, reassurance, rest, and space to adjust to their new family rhythm. Your transition into parenthood deserves support, too.

🍼 NICU Families: Coming home from the NICU can be a moment families have dreamed about for weeks or months—and it can also bring new uncertainty. Within our non-clinical scope, we provide gentle home-transition support, newborn education, practical assistance, resource navigation, and reassurance as families settle into life beyond the NICU.

💙 Families Welcoming Multiples: Two babies. Three babies. More love—and a lot more happening at once. Families welcoming twins or higher-order multiples can receive personalized support with newborn routines, feeding organization, rest, baby laundry, household transitions, sibling adjustment, and finding a rhythm that works for the whole family.

🌻 Blended & Grandparent-Led Families: Sometimes a baby's village includes stepparents, grandparents, extended family, chosen family, or multiple generations living under one roof. We respect the people your family identifies as its village and work alongside them to create a supportive environment around the parent and baby.

🕊️ Families Experiencing Pregnancy or Infant Loss: Not every postpartum journey includes bringing a baby home. And those families deserve a village, too. Maison Cheniah offers compassionate, nonjudgmental support for families navigating pregnancy or infant loss, with space for grief, remembrance, practical support, resources, and whatever this season looks like for your family. There is no expectation to grieve a certain way. Your baby mattered. Your experience matters. You matter.

🌍 Families Across Cultures, Faiths & Traditions: Postpartum traditions have existed across cultures for generations. We enter each family's home with cultural humility, curiosity, and respect. Your traditions, foods, faith, customs, language, family roles, and beliefs surrounding birth and postpartum recovery are not inconveniences to work around. They are part of your family's story.

♿ Parents & Families Living With Disabilities: Support should adapt to the family receiving it—not require the family to adapt to the support. We work collaboratively with Guests to understand individual needs, routines, accessibility considerations, and preferences so postpartum support can feel respectful, practical, and empowering.

Care Begins With Listening

Before we decide what your visit should look like, we listen.

We don't enter your home with a checklist of everything we believe you should be doing.

We begin with one question: “What do you need right now?”

Your answer might be: “I need to sleep.” Then let's create space for you to rest.

“I haven't eaten today.” Let's make sure you're nourished.

“I don't understand what my baby needs.” Let's learn together.

“The bottles and pump parts are everywhere.” Let's get them washed and organized.

“I just need someone to talk to.” Then we'll sit.

“Honestly, I don't even know what I need.” That's okay, too. We'll start there.

Because sometimes care isn't about doing everything.

It's about making today feel a little lighter.

Come As You Are

You don't need the perfect home.

You don't need the perfect birth story.

You don't need to parent a certain way.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

And your family doesn't need to look like anyone else's.

Bring your traditions.

Bring your questions.

Bring your chosen family.

Bring your complicated story.

Bring your joy.

Bring the days when you aren't quite sure how you're feeling.

Come as you are.

We'll meet you there.

You Belong Here.

At Maison Cheniah, inclusion isn't about checking boxes. It's about creating a space where every Guest can feel:

Seen.

Heard.

Respected.

Supported.

Safe to receive care.

Because although every family's story is different, we believe one thing should be universal:

Every Family Deserves a Maison.™

You are our Guest. Welcome Home.

"Rooted in compassion. Guided by your choices. Held by your village.” 🌱
